Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and DMO Software Solutions Inc. ("we", "us") for using DMO Business Suite: the website at dmosuite.com, DMO Account (the one sign-in for every DMO app), and the DMO apps, including DMO CRM, DMO Desk, DMO Business Tools and DMO Sign. Some apps show additional terms of their own; for that app, its own terms apply where they differ from these. Our Privacy page explains how we handle information.

Your DMO Account

• You need a DMO Account to use the apps. Give us accurate details and keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once at support@dmosuite.com if you think someone else has used it.
• If you create an organization or workspace for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to act for that business, and the business is bound by these terms.

Your content

• It stays yours. The clients, messages, documents and records you put into DMO apps belong to you or your business.
• What you allow us to do. You let us store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run the apps for you, for example to keep backups, scan files for viruses, show previews and send the emails you ask us to send.
• Information about other people. If you add information about your own clients or contacts, you are responsible for having the right to use it. We process it only on your behalf, to provide the service.
• Export. You can download your content while your account is open.

Acceptable use

Do not use DMO Business Suite for anything unlawful, to send spam or harass anyone, to upload malware, to try to break into or overload our systems, to scrape or access it in automated ways we have not allowed, or to resell it without our written permission. We may limit or suspend use that puts the service, our customers or other people at risk.

Plans and payment

• Some apps have free plans; others are paid or offer a trial. Current plans and prices, in US dollars, are on the Pricing page.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your DMO Account; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We will tell you in advance before a price increase applies to you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the apps available and working, but we cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free, and some apps are marked as beta. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove something that is a main part of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

A tool, not advice

DMO apps help you run your business. They do not give legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and you remain responsible for your own decisions and records.

Ending the agreement

• You can stop using DMO Business Suite at any time and ask us to close your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can.
• If we stop offering an app, we will tell you in advance and give you time to download your content.

Our responsibility

The service is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the apps before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and cancel before then.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
